Bing will edge out Google |
01 Jun 2010 |
Although Google has been the most popularly used search engine, statistics and facts imply that this situation could change in the future, with Bing being more competitive.
First, Bing is the pet product of Microsoft and can be pushed to be the default search engine for Internet Explorer. Currently, there are 10.3% of IE users using Bing primarily.
It has become a fact that Apple and Google are no longer on good terms, which should be taken advantage of by Microsoft. The first step is to push Bing as the primary search provider for iPhone and iPad.
The last reason for Bing to outdo Google is that Bing users are more likely to click ads, as shown in statistics. This is a valuable asset for marketing firms.
It is predicted that Google’s market share will have a slight decline in 2010 due to the competition with Yahoo and Bing.
