A New Program for Google AdWords Users |
7 May 2010 |
Changes have been made by Google to offer advertising agencies a better experience at Google’s AdWords platform when dealing with search engine marketing, including pricing, certification and training.
The Google Advertising Professional program is abandoned and replaced with the new Google "Certification Program" which continues to certify professionals in helping clients to include more number of new Google AdWords in their search engine marketing campaigns.
Once completing the new program, agencies is entitled to a different pricing regime for the AdWords API (Application Programming Interface), which will eventually lower the costs of bigger agencies with larger client budgets due to tougher competitions.
Agencies passing the test in the program will attain the "Certified Partner" status and are able to help potential clients verify their authenticity with a "click to verify button" displayed on their website. The new program can help agencies be a better ad manager with the program’s valuable marketing and training materials as well as a specialized qualification system.
For every $1 AdWords purchased, Google will dispense 250 units of AdWords for free to each agency.
The move of the new program is to encourage agencies and developers to experiment with more and newer strategies and the functionality of their tools.
