Lawsuits should not hurt business

Romeo and Juliet might be forbidden to be in love, but Apple’s new pet iPad is still obliged to go hand in hand with the family foe, Google.

Apple and Google have turned from friends to foes since Apple launched a lawsuit against Google's manufacturer HTC for patent infringement. But quality cannot be compromised even in a war like that. Google would still be the default search engine for Apple's iPad so as to provide large-scale search engine optimization (SEO) boost to online marketers.

From the SEO reports, the inclusion of Google is said to further upgrade the user experience of iPad. A whole new set of Google products is also designed specifically for iPad – products like Gmail, Google Calender, Google News, Picasa and the search engine Google.com. In return, Google also enjoys an expanded base of up to 300,000 new users, with the figure increasing as the iPad keeps selling.

Mobile devices have been a strategic medium for search engine optimization (SEO) as they become more and more widespread. Better campaigns can be designed to target mobile internet device users.
