Google Personalizes Search with New Star |
09 March 2010 |
Another new feature is introduced to Google search engine – "star" your search results and have your item come back to you the next time you perform a similar search.
While people can bookmark their favorite websites or "star" the important emails in Gmail, they can also mark a search result they like now simply by clicking the star marker on top of the page.
The good thing about the "starry" thing is you don’t need to keep track of the items you liked before. Every time you perform a search query, the relevant results you "starred" before will appear at the top of the results, giving you a more comprehensive search result by providing you with your search history.
In the near future, minor interruptions might occur during the engine upgrade. Starred search will be available to every user registered on Google.
