Apple’s iPad has been staying in the spotlight since its recent release, but there is other news from the industry worthy of our attention: Google is including social media results in their search pages and Facebook has set users angry over the rumor of a possible charge in future.
Having been listed in Google labs feature for a period of time, data from social media networks are now embedded in the inventory of Google Beta. Any keyword will lead to natural results using data from regular webpages and social media networks.
On the other hand, there was a rumor about Facebook’s plan of charging users. The rumor is said to have come from a hoax email circulated on Facebook. While the idea seemed unlikely and the source unreliable, groups were growing fast on Facebook to petition against the charging plan. But doubts and anger were cleared quickly as Facebook came out to deny the claim.
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and chief of Facebook, said the success and popularity of Facebook did attract a lot of offers from people wanting to buy it – people who WILL turn it into a paysite.
