It’s time to Google your YouTube

It is good news to both advertisers and the SEO business sector. Recently, search giant Google has added a new function to its main search function so that YouTube videos could be embedded into advertisements.

This upgrade, though in its trial period, will create an entirely new platform for companies to promote their products. Textual advertisement is no longer the only tool to attract customers. It is believed that the video content could help SEO reach more potential customers as video content can also be linked to search pages - and they are more interesting. Viewers will be able to scroll and browse through several video clips as well as to move through different ads the way Google allows you to do inside the Gmail inbox. The look and feel of the embedded videos could be customized with specific footage selected, all of which would function as a kind of search category for Google to link the advertisement to the search result. Specific YouTube authors would also be a search category. Better positive business effects of successful SEO would be generated.

At this moment, Google is offering this upgrade function to selected advertisers only. It is expected that a flock of advertisers to this new function will occur after the trial period, opting to add videos to their advertisements. This surge in demand for this newly-added feature is likely to take place in Hong Kong as well.
