Facebook-Nielsen Collaboration Improves Ads Analytics Accuracy

Facebook announced a collaboration with the marketing research giant Nielsen to launch a product called "BrandLift" to generate a more accurate statistics on the click rate of Facebook ads to provide a better information about how well the ads perform.

Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg explains that it is a milestone for Facebook to have a considerable advancement on its ad effectiveness analysis with the support from the experienced industry player Nielsen while the Facebook advertising business is rapidly expanding. Sandberg thinks that it is necessary to assure its customer the helpfulness of the Facebook ads, and the partnership with Nielsen will surely give a lot of confidence to different businesses.

Although Facebook still has a long way to go comparing to the click ad giants, Google and Yahoo, its upcoming share will surely increase with its improved service. Facebook owns a particular niche in the realm of social media that hardly anyone can compete with. Its partnership with Nielsen will surely bring the competition of click ads into a new battle field.
